By popular demand: after the incredible success of last year’s audience, with over 120,000 admissions, returns to Rome, from December 9, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, with big news, “THE ART OF THE BRICK”!
A lot of news from the over seventy art sculptures created with more than a million LEGO bricks, works by the American artist Nathan Sawaya. An exhibition that CNN has proclaimed as one of the ten exhibitions to see in the world and has already conquered the globe, from New York to Los Angeles, from Melbourne to Shanghai, from London to Singapore.
The works on display, large-size, ranging from the human figure “simple” than that revisited in art as the reproduction of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci, The Girl with a Pearl Earring by Vermeer and The Scream by Munch. Until very impressive installations like the skeleton of T-Rex, built with over 80,000 bricks there will also depictions of the Sistine Chapel and the Starry Night by Van Gogh, as they have never seen before …
Finally the exhibition includes an interactive area that invites young people, but not only, to express their creativity using LEGO, perhaps imitating the artist who, successful lawyer, he decided to devote himself to his passion “because I like to see the people’s reactions to artwork created from something with which they are familiar. I want to elevate this simple toy to a role that has never occupied before. “
